Activities Director Responsibilities include: Planning, scheduling, and implementing activities for a weekly calendar, considering resident preferences Identifying and accommodating the unique needs of each resident Involving residents in planning recreational objectives and goals Fostering community engagement through activities and outings Building a positive community image through press relations, promotions, scrapbooks, and displays Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field; certification as an Activity Professional preferred Two years of activities management experience preferred Preferred Behaviors: Innovative: Introduces new ideas and demonstrates original thinking Thought Provoking: Inspires deep thinking in others Enthusiastic: Shows eagerness and enjoyment in work Preferred Motivations: Self-Starter: Motivated to perform independently Goal Completion: Driven by completing tasks successfully Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to contribute to organizational success Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights under federal employment laws.
