Position Summary

As a paralegal at Kemeny, Ramp & Renaud, you will provide vital support to our attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. You’ll work closely with the firm's attorneys and clients, ensuring that all legal processes are executed efficiently and professionally. You will report directly to the Managing Partner of the firm, while having the opportunity to collaborate with all members of our legal team.

Responsibilities

The paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s attorneys in representing our clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and editing legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Managing and organizing case files while maintaining accurate records in the case management system.
  • Preparing exhibits and trial notebooks to assist attorneys with trial preparation.
  • Filing legal documents with courts and agencies, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedural rules.
  • Communicating with clients, witnesses, and experts to obtain information and schedule meetings.
  • Handling administrative tasks, such as scheduling, corresponding, and maintaining calendars.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A friendly and professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some prior law firm experience is preferred but not required.
