Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations, collect vital clinical data, and prepare patients for tests and treatments.
• Diagnosis & Treatment: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose medical conditions, and administer medications or treatments.
• Clinical Leadership: Serve as a resource and team leader during clinical shifts, ensuring smooth patient processing and discharge.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor to new staff and physician assistant students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient medical reports and coding for effective billing.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS certifications; NP license upon hire; ATLS certification required.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to master computerized medical recordkeeping.
• Professionalism: Must project a professional image and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.
