What You'll Do:

As an NP, your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations, collect clinical data, and prepare patients for tests and treatments.
• Diagnostic Expertise: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose medical conditions, and administer medications or treatments.
• Team Leadership: Serve as a resource and team leader during clinical shifts, ensuring smooth patient processing and discharge.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor to new staff and physician assistant students, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient medical reports and coding for effective billing.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program - required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• NP License upon hire - required
• ATLS and BCLS certifications upon hire - required

Physical Demands:

This role requires:

• Constant standing, walking, and talking
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and handling
• Occasional climbing, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain eye/hand/foot coordination
