We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Spanish teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be able to create an engaging and effective learning environment for students of various proficiency levels. As a Spanish teacher, you will be responsible for teaching language skills such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also promoting an appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum to students of varying age groups and proficiency levels.
• Teach Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
• Encourage students to develop their language skills through interactive activities, multimedia resources, and real-world application.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Develop and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams in a timely and fair manner.
• Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful, and conducive to learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as needed.
• Stay up to date with best practices in language teaching and incorporate new methods and resources.

Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience in Spanish (required).
• Proficiency in Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of different ages.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students to learn.
• Knowledge of or willingness to integrate cultural elements of Spanish-speaking countries into lessons.
• Certification in teaching (preferred but not required).

Work Schedule:

Part-time, some weekdays and weekend.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
