Gaynelle is a Communications Consultant, a veteran radio and television personality of nearly three (3) decades, and a Public Speaking and Elocution coach of over seven (7) years through her programme "Just Say It by Gaynelle Marshall". 

She is also an award-winning Creative Copywriter and voice actor, with wins in the Addys and the Caribbean Broadcasting Union Awards. She continues to be a much sought after speaker, moderator and presenter and workshop facilitator for corporations, charities, and special interest groups. 

Gaynelle has served as Programme Manager for Y103.3 FM, where she was also morning show host, for over nine (9) years, and prior to that she was the Senior Programming assistant on the former Love 104.1 FM for fourteen (14) years. 

Off-air, she is an enthusiastic plant parent, and an equally enthusiastic cricket fan, where it is West Indies for life!

Biography

Allison Demas is a true Caribbean woman.  She is passionate about the region’s development and creativity and is committed to full regional integration.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Media InSite Ltd., Allison - an Attorney-at-Law specializing in copyright and entertainment law - is a driven and visionary entrepreneur. For over 20 years she monitored media and created new and innovative ways to track, measure, and analyze paid, earned, and owned media across the region.

Since 2011, Allison has been dedicated to meticulously tracking, measuring, and analyzing media content. Her experience spans various forms of media, including news, advertising, marketing, public relations, and social media campaigns and conversations. 

Allison's leadership extends beyond her role at Media InSite Ltd. She has served as President and then Chief Executive Officer of the Copyright Music Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago (COTT) during which time she pioneered the digital tracking of music in the English-speaking Caribbean. She served as Chairman of the National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) and as Chair of the NOVA Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Her training and expertise have also led her to serve on several other Boards and Committees. 

Allison credits her passion for the region to the broadness of her exposure outside her native Trinidad and Tobago. While her formative education began in Jamaica, she also attended school in Guyana, Queen’s College in Barbados, and pursued her interest in law at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies. 

She considers Barbados her second home.

Sharron draws on her diverse experience in business strategy, sales management, business development and key account management, as well as her skill for forging enduring relationships with clients to drive accelerated, profitable growth for their organizations.  

With 20+ years of experience in varied industries, she is passionate about collaborating with clients on initiatives which significantly impact their success.  

Sharron holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and an MBA in International Business from the Roberto Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta. 

As Business Development Consultant with Media InSite Ltd, Sharron is responsible for client acquisition and relationship management in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean and provides on-going guidance to Media InSite’s Client Services Team in developing and implementing Key Account Management within Media InSite.

Devin Griffith is the CEO & Chief Strategist with The G&A Group. Devin specializes in strategic brand management, change management and nation branding. He has led the development of brand strategies and branding programmes for major regional and international organizations including the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), Bahamas Bureau of Standards & Quality (BBSQ), Grace Kennedy, Sagicor Financial Ltd, the Dubai Stock Exchange, and COPA Airlines.  

He expertly delivered management training and empowerment programmes to a range of clients to support rebranding and change management initiatives.  He possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in destination marketing, having successfully completed programmes for several public sector entities.  

These included regional governments for countries such as Suriname, Guyana, Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Barbados. Devin is qualified in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing from the University of Liverpool and has a background in graphic design and advertising with qualifications from Pratt University in New York, Woodstock School of Art (NY) and The Barbados Community College.

Biography

Earny St Catherine is an esteemed luminary in the Eastern Caribbean's creative and communications sectors, commencing an illustrious career as a journalist at the tender age of 17 and rapidly ascending to become Saint Lucia's youngest news anchor.  

His academic foray into journalism in France not only distinguished him academically but also provided him with invaluable experiences at the European Parliament. Returning to the Caribbean, Earny seamlessly transitioned into advertising before the age of 25, showcasing a natural aptitude and vision that would soon redefine the regional advertising landscape.  

His dynamic leadership and innovative strategies have been central to the success of Blackbox Communications Inc, where as CEO, he oversees a vast portfolio of vital indigenous accounts and directs groundbreaking rebranding projects for major entities such as the Bank of Saint Lucia, Bank of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, National Insurance Corporation, Antigua Public Utilities Authority, SLASPA, and 1st National Bank. His profound impact extends across diverse sectors, revitalizing brands and setting new benchmarks for marketing excellence in the region. Additionally, his expertise was further acknowledged during his tenure as VP of Marketing at Cable and Wireless, where he led significant initiatives and strategies. 

Carol Martindale

Biography

Carol is a veteran award-winning journalist with more than 30 years’ experience. Throughout her career, Carol received several professional awards including the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) Barbados Award, the PAHO Certificate of Merit Award, the United Nations Population Fund Caribbean Award, as well as several Nation awards for her outstanding work.  

She currently leads the Editorial Department of The Nation Publishing Co. Limited. Carol has worked her way through the ranks of the company from 18 years old, when she joined as a trainee reporter. She has held various positions in the company including Executive Editor, Managing Editor, Sunday Sun Editor, Weekend Nation Editor, Online Editor and News Editor. Carol studied at City University in London where she received her MA in Communications Policy and at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, where she received a BA in Journalism. She also received her certification in Online Journalism from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus in Jamaica.  

 

As Editor-in-Chief, Carol is responsible for setting clear, strategic Editorial goals for the country’s number one media company. She leads a team that is focused on providing fair, balanced, and responsible journalism, while continuing a trajectory of a fully integrated newsroom comprising print and digital. 

Jackie Marshall- Clarke

Biography

Jackie Marshall-Clarke, Manager of Communication and Government Relations at The Barbados Light & Power Company, is a seasoned communications professional with over 20 years of experience. She is recognized as a leader who emphasizes strong leadership for driving innovation, achieving business goals, and fostering a positive organizational culture. 

Jackie has led communication efforts through several challenges at Light & Power, including the 2019 island-wide power outage, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Hurricane Elsa in 2021, and the demanding rate review period since 2022. Her leadership has been instrumental in helping the Management Team navigate these challenges and build resilience and agility within the Company. 

Known for her deep background in marketing, communication, public relations, and broadcasting, Jackie is praised for her ability to see from many angles. She is described as a leader who listens, welcomes knowledge sharing, and is very hands-on. Jackie is known for her kindness, positivity, and supportiveness, making her a respected figure at all levels of the organization.

Sharleen Browne

Biography

Sharleen started her marketing career over a decade ago after earning her BSc. in Marketing from Morgan State University on a volleyball scholarship for representing Barbados. Transitioning from media and entertainment to the insurance industry, she led dynamic campaigns for a leading insurance company in Barbados.  

Sharleen excelled as a Corporate Communications Specialist, focusing on crisis and internal communications, and customer education through radio programs. Now the Corporate Communications Specialist at GAIA Inc., she is dedicated to reshaping the airport's image by sharing its unique stories.  

A sports enthusiast and competitive spirit, Sharleen is also known for hosting the cooking show Eggonomics and is a proud mother of 6-year-old Cijay. Her vibrant approach to life makes her a compelling figure, enriching any discussion.
