Khamal Georges

Khamal Georges has more than fifteen years experience in the media and communications industry. He is currently the Senior Manager of Corporate, Environment, Social and Reputation Management at TSTT. Previously, he was the Lead News Gathering Editor at Guardian Media and News Anchor at Guardian Media Limited and CNC3 Television where he spent 13 years.

He also works with executives in media training and strategy. Among his qualifications, Khamal holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business. He is also a member of the University of the West Indies Gender Advisory Board, helping the Institute for Gender and Development Studies in its quest to transform gender relations in the Caribbean.

Mark Lyndersay

Mark Lyndersay has worked as a practicing journalist since 1978 and began writing his column on technology, BitDepth, in September 1995. The column has been published in the Trinidad Express, Trinidad Guardian, The Wire and appears in its first run in TTNewsday. In April 2014 he amplified the coverage of local technology issues and matters of concern to the Caribbean region with a news website, TechNewsTT.

Much of his reporting is hands-on, reflecting his experiences with the technology under discussion and offering practical assessment of its relevance and potential.

Terita Kalloo

Terita Kalloo is a practising Intellectual Property Attorney at Law. She has been practicing law for over a decade and specialises in IP protection, management, litigation and enforcement through her law practice based in Port of Spain- “Terita Kalloo Law”. She is also founder of IP Harvester Ltd, an IP Management Company, that offers IP Management services in the Caribbean region such as IP Valuations, IP Audits, and IP Due Diligence.

Terita is a WIPO certified trainer at the National Intellectual Property Training Centre of Trinidad and Tobago and holds a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law and Management from the University of Strasbourg, France. She is also designated Co-Chair of the International Affairs Committee of the International Institute of IP Management, an internationally recognized professional association for quality in IP management based in Switzerland. Terita is currently pursuing PhD research in the field of IP Management.

LaShaun Ramdin

LaShaun Ramdin is a Digital Marketing & Sales Professional who works with top-tier companies and entrepreneurs to help them grow their brand in a digital landscape. After spending 18+ years in the sales and marketing industry, she knows what truly drives conversions and builds customer loyalty. It’s how well you connect with your audience. 

LaShaun conducts training within various topics of the digital landscape such as Social Media Management, Data Analytics, and Data-Driven Decision Making and has completed training for many diverse organizations locally and regionally. She is also co-lead for the Google Women Tech Makers chapter in Trinidad and Tobago.

Joe Taylor

Taylor is a media monitoring operations and process improvement expert, consulting with news and ad monitoring firms globally. He has broad experience designing strategies and processes for capturing, filtering, and making sense of large amounts of media content.​

Taylor was a founding member and first president of News Data Service (NDS), America’s first broadcast news content sharing cooperative. He served as Data Director for VMS, the nation’s dominant broadcast monitoring firm, and was Vice President of News Monitoring for MediaLink Worldwide. ​

He has worked as a journalist for newspaper, radio, and television media houses and as a congressional press secretary. Since 2011, Taylor has consulted with news and advertising monitoring firms in Africa, North America, and the Caribbean.​
